Thirty three year old music star John Legend is engaged. Cindi Berger,the singer's publicist, said that Legend proposed to his girlfriend, 26 year old swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen, while vacationing in the Maldives.
Legend has won nine Grammys and released four albums. Teigen was named "rookie of the year" in the Sports Illustrated's annual swimsuit issue last year. She also has a food blog and appeared for two years on the TV show "Deal or No Deal".
The singer will ring in 2012 with a performance at the Pearl Concert Theater at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve.”
